Tips for keeping coyotes away...

Please do your part to prevent repeat visits.
The coyote will remain in the area if it finds food.

• Keep your cats inside and supervise small dogs
• Remove outdoor pet food
• Pick up fallen fruit
• Take down bird feeders
• Secure your garbage
• Trim overgrown landscaping
• Never water your lawn at night
• Make the coyote feel uncomfortable
• Be aggressive: yell, throw rocks, spray a hose at the animal
• Make yourself appear large, and back away slowly
• Never turn your back or run away
